Johann Günther Bach [33] (Musician)

Born: April 4, 1703 - Gehren, huringia, Germany
Died: buried October 24, 1756 - Erfurt, Thuringia, Germany

Johann Günther Bach [33] was son of Johann Christoph Bach [17]. He was a town musician (tenor and viola player) and a teacher in Erfurt by 1735. His Orgelbuch, an anthology of keyboard music of Johann Pachelbel, J.C.F. Fischer, and other 17th-century masters, but also including works of J.S. Bach, has been preserved in the Lowell Mason Collection (US-NH LM 4983).
